:: StarTrek: Voyager - Elite Force

Multiplayer
In Elite Force, multiplayer gameplay is referred as "Holomatch", as though it's a simulation taking place on a holodeck. The various game types are the exact same as those in Quake 3. You have your basic Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Tournament, and Capture the Flag. While deathmatch is about as plain as ever, the CTF maps and play is rather fun and very intense. The energy weapons throw out alot of effects and noise while things get real crazy, real quick! The multiplayer code seems rather robust and supports various bandwidths, no doubt the exact same as that of Quake 3.

Conclusion
All in all, StarTrek: Voyager - Elite Force is a very satisfying gaming experience and worth a look by any gamer who loves the FPS genre. StarTrek fans alike will enjoy becoming part of the Voyager crew and participating in what often seems like a regular episode. Although the single player storyline is rather short and somewhat hard to swallow, the excellent utilization of the Q3 engine results in a Trek game like no other. Hopefully, this will set a new standard for future Startrek games showing the Startrek arena is still open for great entertainment development. Please check out the demo for a great introduction to what this game has to offer.
